Congratulations to Coach Lynette Clemons for being named the Yerger Middle School Teacher of the Month for March. Coach Clemons is relentless in her efforts to help all students improve academic performance. She spends countless hours preparing work for struggling and excelling students alike in an effort for all to improve. She has been extremely diligent in keeping up with her virtual students and their needs. Teachers like Coach Clemons make any school better with their heart for kids and dedication to their craft. Thank you Coach Clemons for all you do!

Today in EAST, students completed a STEM Challenge where they were challenged to create the longest paper chain using one piece of construction paper and a limited supply of tape. The longest chain ending up being 16ft! #WeAreYMS 🐾


The Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will NOT be given at Hope Public Schools vaccination clinics until further notice, per Express Rx Pharmacy.

Ms. Gulley's Project Prevent Team has spent time presenting to classes at YMS. Project Prevent is the statewide youth tobacco
prevention coalition in Arkansas. Its members choose to live their
lives free from tobacco and nicotine, and encourage
others to do the same! #WeAreYMS


YMS ACT Aspire testing schedule for next week!

Hello Yerger Middle School family. It is ACT Aspire testing time again. All onsite and virtual students will test onsite at the Yerger Middle School campus from April 19th through April 23rd. No at home testing is permitted. All students will report to their designated testing room at 7:55 AM each morning. We will complete one test each day. Any student who misses a test during this assigned week will be placed on a make-up schedule the following week. If you have any questions, please call the Yerger office at 870-722-2770. Thank you.

Bobcat Clinic will not have a physical health provider available April 7-9. COVID-19 testing and routine immunizations will be available, as will normal behavioral health services.

Mr. Ramilo's 8th grade Literacy class was able to participate in a cultural exchange discussion through Zoom with his former students all the way in the Philippines! Students had an awesome time talking, and comparing life here to life in the Philippines. #WeAreYMS 🇺🇸➡🇵🇭


The Bobcat Clinic at Hope High School will not offer physical health services Friday, April 2. Behavioral health services will be provided as usual.

March is Women's History Month. Ms. Stevens and her 8th grade US History classes are celebrating with a gallery walk today to learn about some very important women in history!
