YMS had a visit from the Harlem Wizards this morning! All students received free tickets to see them tomorrow night at Hope High at 5:30pm!

Our 8th grade team put up a good fight last night against the Magnolia Panthers! The final score was 14-36, they play next Thursday at DeQueen.
Club Days at YMS are going fantastic! The students are having a blast!

YMS students are enjoying our new after school program! We have scaled recipes and learned how to make them from scratch, created and directed book trailers, and put the eggs to the drop test! *eggs were harmed in the making of the program:(*
Our 7th grade football team brought a win to Hope against the Nashville Scrappers! The final score was 14-8. 8th Grade plays in Magnolia on Thursday at 5:30pm.
This Thursday, August 29th, YMS 7th & 8th graders will have the opportunity to hear Alton Carter speak about his life as a foster child. His book, "The Boy Who Carried Bricks", details his journey to being the first high school & college graduate in his family.

The HPSD is aware of a social media posting that refers to a threat of an attack on a school within the state. HPD notified the district of an FBI General Awareness statement issued last week. While there is no verifiable threat to any school system, the HPS district takes student safety serious and will monitor the situation along with all federal, state, and local law enforcement.
This event will be rescheduled.
