Meet Rebecca Tomlin, Literacy teacher at YMS. "I'm very pleased to be starting my 3rd year at Yerger Midde school. We have the BEST students. Proud to be a Bobcat!!"

Mr. Ellis has been teaching Band and Choir for 6 years and this is his 2nd year at YMS. Mr. Ellis directs the 8th grade band and assists with High School, 7th grade, and BHE bands, as well as the YMS Choir.

Meet LaTonya Bradley. She is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University. She is the 7th grade science teacher at YMS with 13 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Bradley believes that education is for all children.

Meet Melinda Strike, EAST Facilitator at YMS. She is a graduate of HSU and is currently working on her Master's degree at HSU in Technology Leadership. This is Ms. Strike's fourth year at YMS and she is so excited to share EAST with her students this year!

Erika Armstrong is a native of Hope and a 1997 graduate of Hope High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, Interdisciplinary Studies from HBCU Lane College, Jackson TN in 2005. She has a background in Education, DCFS, Community Service, and Mental Health.

Meet Josclyn Jones Wiley, Principal at YMS. A graduate of UCA and Texas A&M, Mrs. Wiley brings 20 years of experience to YMS. She is a dedicated educator and has a passion to see all students succeed-No Exceptions!


Meet Jonathan Turner, Dean of Students at YMS. He is a graduate of Henderson State University and is starting his twenty-first year in education. He coaches high school football, basketball, and jr. high track.
