Last week, Mr. McMahan and Mr. Bradford took 132 First Grade students from Clinton Primary School on a field trip to Little Rock to hear and watch the Arkansas Symphony perform. They were entertained with music from around the globe. Ms. Karber, who accompanied the group, said, "Because of the inclement weather, we picnicked on the buses outside the Fair Park. I overheard one student proclaim the, 'best day ever!'" #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

From Gina Karber: Clinton Primary fourth graders completed a Because of Winn-Dixie novel study this week. As we studied all the characters and the heartfelt changes each made throughout, we learned today that we have all changed too. We have new and special perspectives on friendship, acceptance, and courage ALL BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE.
Pictures shown are of our parties, replicating the party held in the novel to bring everyone together to celebrate the many beautiful things we all share. It consisted of Miss Gloria's Dump Punch, Otis's pickles, Littmus Lozenges, and the triangle sandwiches without the crust! What a wonderful way to celebrate our love for reading! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Video: Mr. Green's class at Clinton Primary is learning about Magic-E! They're using the song "Say My Name" to help them learn because the Silent-E/Magic-E makes the vowel say its name. https://youtu.be/IYDlIy_oeMg

Students in Mrs. Carr's 3rd Grade Literacy class peer-reviewed their narrative writing. Students were able to provide feedback to each other on the introduction portion of their essays. By doing so, students were given the chance to learn from each other and practice communication skills. It was really rewarding to hear them provide each other with positive and helpful feedback and reflect on their own errors. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Ms. Rainey Christopher (Future Teacher) read After The Fall by Dan Santat to the class. Afterward, the class did a Let your fears fly away activity. The students wrote their fears on paper and made paper planes to demonstrate letting their fear fly away. In Benchmark we are on Unit 6/ Stories Teach Many Lessons. Ms. Christopher told the students to never let your fears hold you back from achieving your goals. Thank you Ms. Christopher from Mrs. McClenton's class. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture ✈️📗📚

Ms Stewart's class at CPS is celebrating Red Ribbon Week in style - Hero Style! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

On Wednesday, students in Jesse Lewis' class used finger flashlights to read their CVCe (Magic e) passages in the dark. Students love the novelty of reading in the dark with flashlights. In addition it is amazing how focused they are while reading quietly. This allows her and her para a chance to walk the room and listen as they read and assist them sounding out words as needed. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture 🔦📗🎒
