Congratulations to our November Employees of the Month. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our students.
Magnet’s Discovery Friday was a huge success as students explored a variety of hands-on STEM and STEAM activities. Throughout the building, students experimented with chemical reactions, launched straw rockets, created lemon volcanoes, tested designs in the egg drop challenge, made Christmas slime, built Santa zip lines and parachutes, and even examined the symmetry of snowflakes.
The day was filled with discovery, excitement, and joyful learning—showcasing the power of hands-on exploration at Magnet.

On behalf of the C.P.S. Music Department, we are excited to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming Christmas Program, titled "A Rock -N- Roll Christmas". Our elementary music students have been rehearsing tirelessly, and we can't wait to share their hard work and holiday cheer with you.
This year, we're bringing the joy and magic of the season to life through classic holiday tunes, heartwarming melodies, and spirited performances that will surely get everyone into the holiday spirit. The students will be showcasing a variety of traditional and beloved Christmas songs, from joyful carols to timeless classics, all set in a festive celebration that promises to fill the air with the sounds of the season.
Our performance will take place in William Jefferson Clinton Primary’s Cafeteria, and we would be honored to have you join us for our special event. Whether you're looking for a festive way to kick off the holiday season or simply want to see the incredible talent of our students, we promise you an amazing performance filled with music, joy, and Christmas cheer.

Magnet proudly sponsored an exciting and educational trip to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra at the historic Robinson Auditorium in Little Rock. Under the leadership and coordination of music educators Tristan McMahan and Christopher Mannis, the entire first grade had the opportunity to attend the special performance titled “Fairytales and Fantasies.” ✨
This unforgettable experience immersed students in the world of orchestral music, where classic stories and imaginative themes were brought to life through powerful musical storytelling. The performance introduced young learners to a variety of instruments 🎻🥁🎺 and musical styles, helping them connect what they heard to characters and scenes they know from beloved fairy tales.
Throughout the trip, students were engaged, curious, and enthusiastic—many experiencing a live symphony for the very first time. Teachers and staff noted how the captivating performance sparked conversations about music, creativity, and the importance of the arts in education. 🎶
