HOPE, AR - April 2 2025 - The impending inclement weather is expected to bring with it extreme severe storm conditions. In the event of a tornado warning, there is a community shelter located inside the Beryl Henry Elementary gymnasium. These facilities will be opened in the event of a tornado warning. We encourage everyone to be safe.

STUDENTS! The annual FREE Fishing Derby will be on Saturday, March 22, from 8am-Noon at Huckabee Lake and Hope Fair Park. It's open to all students 18 years old and younger. Participants who are 16 years old and younger must possess a valid fishing license. There will be loaner fishing supplies while they last! For more information, contact CPL Deam at jdean@hopearkansas.net - This event is hosted by the Hope Police Department!


Students from Hope Public Schools are in Hot Springs for the annual EASTCon Conference. EAST provides hands-on, real-world problem-solving and community involvement to students at all grade levels within the district. REMINDER: Students will dismiss early on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Clinton Primary School will dismiss at 1:00pm and the other campuses will dismiss around 1:20pm. NO SCHOOL FRIDAY! Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 3:30pm-7:30pm on Thursday.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Clinton Primary School will dismiss at 1:00pm and other campuses will dismiss roughly 15 minutes later. Please check with your student's teacher regarding conference times. #ALLIN #GoBobcats


The second annual HPS Magnet Fair will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Hempstead Hall from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
All students who will be in grades 5-11 for the 2025-26 school and their families are invited to attend to view and experience the Magnet Pathways offered at each campus.
Students in grades 5-8 for the 2025-26 school year need to attend to complete CHOICE SHEETS for next year so that they and their families can make informed choices regarding the pathway each student plans to pursue during the next school year.
Hope Public Schools participates in School Choice. Deadline for School Choice applications is May 1, 2025.

Bobcat Clinic Update:
Kristin Price APRN will not be available the following days:
March 6th and 13th - She will be out for half of the day in the afternoon.
March 14th - She will be out of the office all day.

It's Reading Across America Week! Campuses will be celebrating reading with various activities. Contact your student's campus for specific information.



During the month of March, Hope Public Schools will be administering the annual ELPA21 Assessment to students. All students in the English Learner program or have waived services are required to take the ELPA21 test. If you have questions, please contact your student's campus office for more information.
