The JV Softball home games scheduled for today (Wednesday, April 3) have been CANCELED.

Last week at Yerger, Mr. McCrary's Agriculture class began an experiment. They planted peas and corn, to examine the differences in their growth patterns and needs.
Today, we have an update to share!
The pea plants have sprouted quickly and have already started producing leaves, while the corn is growing at a slower rate, but still sprouted just the same!





Hope Public Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Hope Public Schools will be OPEN on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Students and teachers are expected to attend normal classes on Friday, April 12. Previously, Friday was scheduled as a closed campus day, but due to the closure of school on Monday, April 8, the calendar was reworked and school will be open on Friday, April 12.
Any questions should be directed to the student's campus main office.

There will be a special called board meeting for Hope Public Schools at 1pm on Monday, April 1, 2024. The meeting will be held in the Administration Building at 117 E 2nd Street in Hope. The public is invited to attend.

From Sandra Rhone: Project Prevent sponsored Storytime and Easter Egg Hunting for Hope Head Start Students. Several Project Prevent members were awarded the opportunity to read to younger students while others hid Easter Eggs and waited for the excitement on the faces of the younger students.
This was a fun activity for the younger students and an extension of learning outside the classroom for Yerger Middle School 7th and 8th-grade students. Yerger students benefited by having time to develop their literacy skills. For instance, if a student is a struggling reader, they acquire confidence by reading to a younger student in a less intimidating environment, often by reading a lower-level book.
Project Prevent is Arkansas's statewide youth tobacco prevention coalition. Its members consist of local Chapters across the state that choose to live free from tobacco and nicotine and encourage others to do the same.
