Celebrating Black History in OUR community! Photo of Professor Will V. Rutherford principal of Yerger High School - 1949. #BHM#WeAreYerger#HistoryofHope

We wanted to celebrate with a #ThrowbackThursday photo of Mr. Muldrew. He was a former Hope superintendent, but in 1972, he was Yerger's very own assistant principal.

Today Yerger's Mrs. Philips(PLTW and EAST Teacher), Mr. Molloy (PLTW and Magnet Resource Teacher), and Ms. Trotter (Yerger's Magnet Coordinator) took 19 students to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock!
If you are curious about what they experienced at the Museum of Discovery, scan this QR Code to see a snippet and explanation of the Science Demonstration the students experienced before exploring the museum!
More pictures to come!

Hosea Born shares the latest about the HopeBots Middle School Robotics Team: The HopeBots hosted the Hope Robot Rendezvous tournament this past weekend. There were 19 teams from five schools that showed off their robots and skills they have been working on all year. The tournament even produced the top scores out of all Arkansas teams with El Dorado taking home the Teamwork Championship.
It wouldn’t have been a success without all our students who volunteered, each parent who contributed to the tournament, and our fantastic judging team! A special thanks to BHE for letting us use their cafeteria and classrooms for our event. We can’t wait to keep growing our program and bring more competitions to Hope!
HopeBots 🤖 ROLL OUT!
