In celebration of Black History Month, Yerger Middle School has created displays in main hallway with inspirational quote from prominent African American leaders!
Good morning from YMS. We will be kicking off our Gear-Up Grant for all grade 7 students on January 30, 2024. There will be a student assembly at Yerger tomorrow at 2pm. Parents are invited to attend an informational meeting at Hempstead Hall at 4:30pm tomorrow night, January 30. Gear-Up is a grant that can lead to college opportunities for your child. Please make plans to attend the meeting at Hempstead Hall tomorrow evening at 4:30pm. Thank you.
The Yerger Magnet Field Trip to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock, Arkansas has been officially rescheduled for January 31st, this upcoming Wednesday.
Due to the inclement weather last week, ALL magnet after school clubs have been rescheduled to begin next week on January 29th. Students will use their normal transportation routines all this week. Again magnet after school clubs will not begin until next week on January 29th. Should there be any questions please contact your child's school.
The Board Meeting tonight (January 22) will start at 5:00pm in the Hope Schools Administration Building. The public is invited to attend. We had previously stated the starting time of 5:30pm. We apologize for the error.
The Resume' workshop scheduled for Saturday, January 20, has been POSTPONED until a later date. We will post the new date once it is finalized. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled event!

JR High games for Saturday (Jan 20) in Ashdown have been canceled. Coaches are working on new dates.
Due to continued icy conditions on county roads, Hope Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 19. We are taking these measures in an abundance of caution. School will resume as normal on Monday, January 22. Stay safe!
Due to icy roads conditions in portions of our district, Hope School District will be closed on Thursday, January 18, 2024. This decision was made in an abundance of caution. We will update you tomorrow regarding the plans for the remainder of the week.
All sporting events scheduled for Thursday have been canceled as well.

Hope school teachers using their knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)! Kristi Brown says, "Teachers from HHS, YMS, and HAPS were engaged in UDL lesson design. Yesterday we were at Beryl Henry and CPS were a part of the same training."
