Parents, be on the lookout for athletic physical paperwork getting sent home next Monday and Tuesday.
If you would like your student to receive a free physical through the Bobcat Clinic, all paperwork must be completed and returned to the student's campus nurse by Thursday, April 4th.
Any questions should be directed to your child's campus nurse by calling that school.

A huge shout out to Yerger's Agriculture class!
Today they began an experiment growing two different kinds of crops in class, to explore how these crops grow differently and have different needs to flourish.
Part of STEAM education is getting hands-on in class, and we love to see students getting their hands dirty, this time literally!
Mr. McCrary, you rock!

The Bobcat Clinic will not have physical health services on Friday, March 29. Please also be aware that CABUN Clinics will be closed that day for Good Friday. If you have questions about the Bobcat Clinic, please call (870) 722-2733.

Join the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana on April 2, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at Hempstead Hall for an informative and engaging lecture on astronomy and eclipses. Karen Steed, an esteemed astronomy instructor with years of experience studying the skies, will be the keynote speaker. This event is free and open to the public, so bring your family and friends for a fascinating evening of learning. Don't miss out on this opportunity to expand your knowledge and appreciation of the universe.
The event is free, and all attendees will receive a free pair of eclipse viewing glasses. Also, plan to attend the UAHT Solar Express solar eclipse celebration on April 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Don't forget the upcoming Eclipse that will pass over Hope on April 8th!
Schools will be closed on April 8th, so make sure you plan time to experience the total eclipse of the sun!
Stay safe while looking at the eclipse, and remember that it is only safe to look at the eclipse with the naked eye during totality (when the sky goes dark as night), which will last only a few minutes.

ALL HPS Magnet Clubs will end on Tuesday March 26,2024. We have thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore student interest through after school clubs, and we look forward to more options for the 24-25 SY. All students will need to resume back to normal transportation on Monday and Tuesdays, unless your student participated in after school boost tutoring. If you have any questions please reach out to your campus magnet coordinator.

Thanks to Israel Diaz for providing a Spanish copy of the school calendar for 2024-2025!

"Tonight's (March 14) Connecting Families Through English class will be cancelled due to parent teacher conferences. We look forward to seeing you all March 28th for our next class!"

We previously published a list of the dates for the upcoming 2024-25 school year approved by the school board. Some of the dates were listed incorrectly and we have attached the corrected versions of those documents (one in English and one in Spanish) that you can view, print, etc. We apologize for any confusion the previous release may have caused. Thanks to everyone who helped make this calendar (and these revisions/translations) possible!

Reminder: the clinic will be closed for spring break from March 15th to March 22nd. Also as it turns out CABUN (the company we work with) is closed March 19th for good friday. We will resume services Monday April 1st.

REMINDER: Parent Teacher Conferences TODAY (Thursday, March 14)!

This past weekend, Mr. McCrary took Yerger students Fernando Perez and Anthony Orosco to the FFA Greenhand Conference which was held at Camp Couchdale in Hot Springs. Mr. McCrary says, "They learned a lot about FFA and had leadership activities." The students identify personal interests and characteristics, build self-confidence through establishing healthy habits, engage in conversations of empathy to discover the importance of diversity and inclusion. They also met with agricultural industry experts and enthusiasts.

This past weekend, Hope Public Schools held the 2024 Magnet Fair for students to check out all the options they have at Yerger, Beryl Henry and HAPS. Students at those schools flew drones, put on singing performances, demonstrated robotics, and more! There was a great turn out! Thanks to all the students, teachers, and parents for coming out to the event!
