TAILGATE PARTY FRIDAY NIGHT!! The Magnet Program will host a Tailgate Party on Friday night before the game! There will be FREE hamburgers, chips, and drinks along with contests and prizes for students! This will be located on 18th Street by the ticket gate near the bandstand! Mrs. Chelsea Ewing's Digital Cinema students participated in a social media flyer contest for the Magnet Team this week. Here is the winning flyer! The student creator of the winning flyer's name is Ashley Alvarado. She is a 9th grade student at HHS. Project Lead the Way is leading the way to a new adventure for Yerger Middle School students. The new robotics class is enjoying learning the beginning stages of robotics and coding.

Yerger Middle School's 8th grade Social Studies class hosted a special visitor, Ms. Michelle Rathgaber, Ph. D, RPA. Ms. Rathgaber is the Educational Outreach Coordinator with the Arkansas Archeological Survey for the University of Arkansas System. Mr. Tony Anderson, STAR Academy teacher, invited her to speak to the 8th grade classes and enlighten them on raw materials used by Indigenous people of North America.





Yerger Middle School's Agri class is at it again! Mr. McCrary takes his students to visit the district fair and livestock animals. What a great way to get an up close look.






Mrs. Tequila Marshall's 7th grade business and careers class is off to a great start in the year. The students have been engaging in many activities with various learning strategies. These students are enjoying the journey with Mrs. Marshall.

HPS Magnet Presents "Connecting Families Through English" on October 26, 2023, at 5:30pm in the Beryl Henry Cafeteria.
This program teaches all participants how to improve their English in order to better communicate with teachers, coaches, and school staff. Classes are free to the public and childcare is provided during each session. REMINDER: Join the DOGS at Clinton Primary! Dads of Great Students (DOGS) is a call for ALL dads, uncles, grandfathers, or ANY male role model! Today, Representative Danny Watson come speak to the 7th and 8th grade Ag class at Yerger. He discussed the importance of knowing parliamentary procedure and talked about some of the things he does for us in Little Rock. The students went through their opening and closing ceremonies for him.





You are cordially invited! The public is welcome to celebrate the 2023 inductees to the Hope Public Schools Educator Hall of Fame! Join us to honor Dora Caldwell, Kathryn Dickinson, Judy Garrett, Hezekiah Smith, and Dr. Roy Turner! Jack Watkins, who was inducted in 2022 but wasn't able to celebrate with us last year, will also be honored at the ceremony! The event takes place on October 6, 2023, at the Bank of Tom Bean Community Room from 2p-4p. There will also be a presentation before the football game that night.
