Mr. Tony Anderson's 8th grade history class had the pleasure of having Mr. John Hollis, J.D. as a guest speaker. He is an outstanding attorney and history Professor, as well as the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness at the University of Arkansas Hope - Texarkana. What an awesome speaker to help instruct the students in understanding the history and inner workings of the government of our great country. The class was able to engage in questions asked by Mr. Hollis and share the knowledge they possess about our govenrment. The class truly was enlightened by this experience.

YMS principal Mike Radebaugh is presented with his "STEAM team" shirt by some Yerger students. "STEAM Team" not only displays the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) that Yerger has become; but more importantly the TEAM we have always been...and will continue to be.

YMS teacher Nancy Bradford prepares her 7th graders to take on challenging tasks in comprehending social studies, geography, history, current events and the connection they hold in present times.

Yerger Middle School art teacher Mrs. Alexis Anderson reviews her students on dimensional terms in art. Anderson breaks down the vocabulary in student friendly terms. With this breakdown Anderson layers on more understanding which will add more character to each art assignment.
