Yerger Middle EAST students enjoy learning Cricut Design Space software. Students were able to individually design and make their personal EAST shirt. As students' knowledge began to grow, natural leaders emerged to help other students along this designing journey.

Yerger Middle School welcomes a new program to the 7th and 8th curriculum. This new program is called Project Lead the Way (PLTW). PLTW offers engaging subjects to challenge the students to advance to new heights. These offering include Flight and Space, Automation and Robotics, Medical Detective, and Design and Modeling.

Yerger EAST students Jayce Sampson and Devin Williams are fully engaged in learning to use new software and technology as they design and create their very own YMS EAST shirts.


Corporal Justin Dean, school resource officer for Hope Public Schools, made a surprise appearance in the Yerger Middle School Robotics class. Corp. Dean participated in the class discussion by providing information about robots and technology that can be found in police departments to aid with the day to day operations. He also provided great commentary regarding technology advancements in the home.
