Yerger is getting its School Spirit on! Here is the calendar for Yerger Middle School's Pep Rallies! Please note that all Spirit Wear must still follow the Yerger Middle School dress code found in the Student Handbook.

There will be no school on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day. Students will also be out on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This includes students at CATS. 🏫📘📓 Staff will report to campuses on Tuesday for Professional Development. 🖊️🎓📖 #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Dear parents, This letter is to inform you that our 7th grade football athletes will begin practicing after school at Yerger starting this Tuesday September 3rd at 5:30pm. Due to the lack of time that we have with our 7th graders in their 1st period class, we decided to bring them back two days a week until the season begins and then once a week for the improvement of our student athletes. 7th grade skill development is vital to building a great football program. Thank you for supporting your student and the program. Practice will last for 1 hour and 15 minutes. We are trying to get all our 7th grade athletes current athletic physical so we can have everyone at practice on Tuesday. A practice schedule, football schedule, will be provided. Practice Days will then be every Wednesday after school for the remainder of the season. Starting at 5:30pm. All junior high football players will get in free on Thursday and Friday night’s for games.

Today in Mr. Molloy's Project Lead the Way classes, students took part in a teambuilding activity to help them work on their teamwork and communication skills as we enter the school year. Students were tasked to build a tower out of marshmallows and pasta, with the tallest and most stable tower being declared the winner!

Let's talk about EAST! EAST is an amazing opportunity for your child (at every Hope Public Schools campus) to learn how to solve problems in our school and community using technology and community resources! When they are not working on projects (solving problems), they are learning new technology, helping their peers, meeting with community partners, or learning basic skills such as sending an email. We are looking forward to seeing the amazing things students (3rd grade through 12th) are doing in Hope, AR!

Yerger Middle School EAST students have new adventures in learning. Students are exploring new software as they team up to conquer graphic designing.

YMS students are adjusting to the new cell phone policy. Second week of school, cell phones pouched and students are ready to learn.

Yerger Middle School has school spirit! Early this morning the Hope mascot decided to assist in flag and car duty. Way to go Bobcats!!

This is a NEW class at YMS to teach students the instruments of the rhythm section. Any student can join, even if they aren’t in band! We are really trying to elevate our jazz curriculum with this class! Mr Ray teaching drumset and Mr Boyd introducing the bass guitar.
