Our HopeBots are bringing home the Energy Award from the Vex Robotics World Championship! Congratulations to Samuel Fellows, Sophia Finagan, Aracely Garcia and Johnny Paredes for representing Hope with excellence!
The Energy Award recognizes outstanding enthusiasm and excitement throughout the World Championship. Key criteria that teams must demonstrate is a passion for the robotics competition that enriches the event experience for all. Teams must demonstrate effective communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a student-centered ethos.
Team Ghostface demonstrated outstanding performance and was the only team at the tournament who could score the most challenging element. Team Lil Rascals and Ghostface cant wait to share more of their experience at worlds with you soon!





The Hope High Junior and Senior girls faced each other in a basketball match on Thursday for the annual Powderpuff game! The Juniors came out strong and never looked back. They ended up besting the Seniors by more than 30 points!
At halftime, the ninth grade boys took on the tenth grade boys in a free throw shootout. The 10th graders scored 28 baskets, beating the 9th graders who had 18.
Students were treated to chicken sandwiches, fries, and drinks. Thanks to Sheila Hopson, Kelly Muldrew, and the coaches, administrators and staff who helpd put this event on for the students!

The 5k Run for Spectrum of Light has been rescheduled. The run/walk will now take place on Saturday, May 25. For more information, contact Pam Edmonson at 870-602-1124.


Congratulations to the Bobcats and Ladycats soccer teams!! Both squads are headed to the State Soccer Tournament as 4th seeds! The tournament starts on Thursday, May 9, at Robinson in Little Rock. Let's Go Bobcats and Ladycats!

Students enrolled in the Take Flight program were recently honored in a dedicated graduation ceremony at Hempstead Hall. These students were part of a comprehensive dyslexia intervention curriculum that helped them succeed in their coursework. We are so proud and excited for these wonderful students!
