Students from Hope School District participated in the Southwest Sr. High Chess Tournament. The event was held on September 23, 2024. Members on the team are Melody Martinez, Payton Norman, Madison Qualls and Christopher Ruiz. Christopher Ruiz ranked 9th overall in the Sr. High Tournament. The team is under the direction of Kenneth Stewart, District GT Coordinator and coach. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Members on the team include Samantha Lewis, Kaden Smith, Jayden Martinez, Aidan McCarty, Rey Mendoza and Zach Ross. Zach Ross ranked 4th overall for the tournament. Great things happening with the 21st Century Learning Community program! Students participated in Paper cutting-Geometry. Deanna Gilbert HPS Food Service Director presented calorie counting. Students built vocabulary playing Scrabble. Ms. Bailey worked with students on reading comprehension. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture
