Arkansas Civic Leadership Institute

Hope Public Schools is proud to recognize our students who participated in the Arkansas Civic Leadership Institute at the Arkansas State Capitol.

Students had the opportunity to take part in leadership and civic engagement activities, learn more about the legislative process, and experience what it is like to debate bills, speak at the podium, and participate in the work of state government.

We are proud of the way our students represented Hope Public Schools and took advantage of this opportunity to learn, lead, and grow.

Congratulations, Bobcats.

Congratulations to our senior Bobcats! Four of Hope's graduating senior athletes have been selected to participate in the 2026 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Arkansas vs. Texas All-Star game. Seniors Sa'mya Monk and Madison Phillips will be representing Arkansas in cheer during the basketball and football Senior Showdown games. Seniors Hunter Godwin and Xavier Key have been selected as Arkansas representatives to play in the Clash of the Titans football game tonight at Pleasant Grove Stadium in Texarkana. This FCA exhibition is not only about sports, but leadership, fellowship, community, and respect. As one of the leaders in this great showcase, Hope's Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Phillip Turner will be hands-on as he coaches the Arkansas receivers and guides the team in leadership and community. Players Godwin and Key pause for a photo as they assist in packing boxes for needy families in an 8 county radius. What a show of sportsmanship! The HPS district, staff, students, and community are truly proud of our five Bobcats for their great efforts and showmanship. Credit to Eddra Phillips for content. Thank you so much!
