“The Hope Collegiate Academy helped me by preparing me for what was expected of me once I transferred to the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). Learning to be independent at the collegiate academy was a huge part of my success in graduating from UAM. The academy also taught me how to ask for help and where to find help when I needed it. Many students don’t seek help or ask questions because they are scared or shy or simply don’t know what to ask. However, being taught how to advocate for myself at the collegiate academy greatly helped me at UAM. The academy helped break down the barriers I had in order to succeed. Without the collegiate academy, I wouldn't be where I am today.” -Montzerrat L. (HCA Graduate and UAM Graduate in Psychology)
