
The Texarkana Recreation Center is hosting the first ever Texarkana Autism Inclusion Expo. The event will be held on Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 am until noon. Lunch will be provided. Professionals from across the state will be on hand to provide information on helping your child Thrive! Please share this information with anyone who might benefit, and ask them to be in attendance. Congratulations to Mayra Garcia! She recently finished her Bachelors in Liberal Studies (with a concentration in education) from Reach University. She shares that she has also "booked her Middle School Mathematics Praxis for January 2024." She hopes to enroll in the ArPEP program to finish her licensure. "I am so excited to finally reach a new milestone in my career and pray I am the best teacher for my future students," she said.

Brittany Carr shared that students "spent the day (Monday, Dec 18) making Gingerbread Houses and Candy Cane ornaments out of beads! They turned out great and the kids had so much fun making them.
