Yerger Middle School will be hosting a family engagement night on December 14th from 5-7pm. The students will be caroling and there will be activities to make Christmas stockings, santa hats, gingerbread houses and Christmas ornaments. Recently, Dr. Crossley served as "Super Sub" at YMS in Mekicia Henry's 8th grade STAR Academy English class! Each semester, Dr. Crossley is the Superintendent Substitute (aka "Super Sub") for certified or classified staff at Hope Public Schools. He is given lesson plans, work orders, or other related information and takes over the position for half a day. All magnet clubs on all campuses have ended for the semester and students need to resume normal transportation on Monday and Tuesday starting December 4th. All magnet clubs will resume next semester on January 22, 2024. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

We’re collecting non-perishable food items and other necessities for transitional students and their families in Hope Public Schools. Transitional families are those who are between housing locations and/or who may be suffering from a lack of permanent accommodations. Bring your items to ANY campus and drop them off at the campus main office. On December 8, Hope Public Schools will take all the donations and STUFF THE BUS! Let’s fill a busload of supplies for our students and families! Items needed include: Canned Items: Meat, Fish, Soup, Vegetables, Fruit Toiletry Items: Laundry Detergent, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bar Soap, Deodorant, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Q-Tips, Shave Cream, Disposable, Razors Pantry Items: Dry Beans, Rice, Pasta, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Instant Oatmeal, Nuts, Crackers, Bottled Water (Plastic), Juice Boxes, Powdered Milk, Instant Coffee, Snack Bars NOTE: Please do NOT donate glass or single-serve items.

Subbed in Ms. Henry's class today! Yerger is rocking STEM education and hands-on learning. I am proud of them! Students LOVE their classes and teachers. Great day in Hope Public Schools. Ms. Green made sure we were all on task! Students were proud of their aeronautics projects and even flew drones. Seriously cool learning at YMS!

This Monday, December 4th, we will have three Jr. High Games starting at 5pm. Teams playing will be the 8th grade boys, 9th grade girls and 9th grade boys vs Ashdown. Games will be played at Jones Fieldhouse. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture
