All magnet clubs on all campuses have ended for the semester and students need to resume normal transportation on Monday and Tuesday starting December 4th. All magnet clubs will resume next semester on January 22, 2024. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

REMEMBER: From November 28 through December 7, YOU can help us STUFF THE BUS! We’re collecting non-perishable food items and other necessities for transitional students and their families in Hope Public Schools. Transitional families are those who are between housing locations and/or who may be suffering from a lack of permanent accommodations. Bring your items to ANY campus and drop them off at the campus main office. On December 8, Hope Public Schools will take all the donations and STUFF THE BUS! Let’s fill a busload of supplies for our students and families! Items needed include: Canned Items: Meat, Fish, Soup, Vegetables, Fruit Toiletry Items: Laundry Detergent, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bar Soap, Deodorant, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Q-Tips, Shave Cream, Disposable, Razors Pantry Items: Dry Beans, Rice, Pasta, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Instant Oatmeal, Nuts, Crackers, Bottled Water (Plastic), Juice Boxes, Powdered Milk, Instant Coffee, Snack Bars NOTE: Please do NOT donate glass or single-serve items.

Subbed in Ms. Henry's class today! Yerger is rocking STEM education and hands-on learning. I am proud of them! Students LOVE their classes and teachers. Great day in Hope Public Schools. Ms. Green made sure we were all on task! Students were proud of their aeronautics projects and even flew drones. Seriously cool learning at YMS!

This Monday, December 4th, we will have three Jr. High Games starting at 5pm. Teams playing will be the 8th grade boys, 9th grade girls and 9th grade boys vs Ashdown. Games will be played at Jones Fieldhouse. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Happy Thanksgiving from Hope Public Schools!

On Tuesday, November 14th Media Communications students went on a field trip to tour Southwest Arkansas Radio Station. They got to speak to the general manager of the station, Mr. Jim Pinson, and learn about the radio broadcasting process. They were able to view and operate some equipment and were given the opportunity to write their own radio commercial. They also learned about student internships that are open for applications. The types of skills they are learning in Media Communications can be transferred into real-life situations as well as the workforce, and they are all excited to be members of this new program.

Coming soon to Hope High School: Guys in Ties Mentoring Program for boys grade 9-12. More details will be given in the upcoming weeks.
