Project Prevent Youth Led Fact Fed Annual Conference 2023
Yerger Middle School students recently attended the Youth-Led Fact Fed Annual Conference. This year's theme was "Changing the Game," the focus was to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to help change how others think about tobacco and nicotine. Currently, 9.7% of high school students in Arkansas smoke cigarettes, more than double the national average of 4.6%. Upon completion, students can provide tobacco education and help change the social norms regarding tobacco and nicotine use in their schools and communities.

It is a style of music which involves drumming on plastic buckets or other objects to create rhythms and melodies. Reminder: The Hope High School & UAHT College & Career Fair is this Thursday, October 19! PERMISSION SLIPS REQUIRED! Parents, please be sure to sign and return the permission slips for your student(s) to attend. 11th & 12th Graders will visit the UAHT campus from 10:30-11:30am. 9th & 10th Graders will attend 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Transportation from the High School campus to UAHT will be provided.

The Hope High Band, "Sound of Hope," took home the GRAND CHAMPION Trophy from the recent competition at Glen Rose. They competed against 21 other bands for the win! Congratulations Hope High School Band!! #GoBobcats
