The Bobcat Clinic will be closed for the Holidays starting Monday Dec. 19th to Monday Jan. 2nd, Services will resume Tuesday Jan. 3rd. We will also be closed Monday Jan 16th for MLK.

Congratulations to Mr. Green's new "Green City" mayors! Kristiona Carr and Devon Monk were recently voted in by their respective classes as the City Mayor for each class. The two classes had been learning about government, elections, and civil service. Students in each class nominated candidates and then voted for their chosen representative. Each "Mayor" was sworn in by Hope Vice-Mayor Kiffinea Talley. Prior to each swearing in, Ms. Delgado read an excerpt from the poem "Don't Quit" by Edgar A Guest. #GoBobcats #ALLIN

Hope Cheer competed in the Spa City Classic at Lake Hamilton High School on Saturday. The team placed 3rd in the 3-4A division. Coach Bradley says she is “Super proud of them!” Awesome job, team!! #GoBobcats

Today was my last sub day for the semester. Ms. Ghormley’s kids are amazing! They are such good critical thinkers. Hope’s future is bright! I even had an observation by Mr. Patton. I’m still waiting on my evaluation ratings.

Clinton Primary had their annual canned food drive for Hope in Action the week before Thanksgiving break. They brought in 1,706 cans of food! We are so proud of our kiddos!
The classes that brought in the most cans were as follows:
Ms. Maldonado - 1st grade
Ms. Lewis - 1st grade
Ms. Cole - 4th grade
They will receive a donut and hot chocolate party before Christmas!

Due to the rapid rise of Flu, RSV and Covid, all after school activities at HAPS are on hold until at least January 2023. As of November 29, evening shift custodial staff will be fogging the HAPS building DAILY. Everyone must be off campus no later than 4:30 PM every day. There are NO exceptions to this - neither staff nor students are allowed to be on campus when the fogging is taking place.
