Administrators recently took part in a 2-day training in Universal Design Learning (UDL). UDL uses various teaching strategies to remove barriers to student learning. It builds flexibility in teaching that can be tailored to each individual student's needs through engagement, representation, and action and expression. This can include relevant and meaningful assignments, using a video showing how to solve a particular problem, and having students create a video or oral report to demonstrate content knowledge. #ALLIN #HopeSchools
