First grade students in Mrs. Lewis' class earn coins through the good behavior rewards program in class. She explains, "They can shop the classroom store to purchase items (bracelets, mini dry erase markers, Crayola markers, coloring pencils, pencils, fun erasers, squishies, etc.). They must be able to use their knowledge of coin identification to add and subtract in order to make purchases. They also learn about goods and services. They have to make choices about spending and saving money. The students enjoy it and I have fun sticking the store and watching them enjoy spending the money they earned. " #HopeForTheFuture #ALLIN

Honor Roll Dates Attached

Hope Public Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, April 8, 2024. Hope Public Schools will be OPEN on Friday, April 12, 2024. Students and teachers are expected to attend normal classes on Friday, April 12. Previously, Friday was scheduled as a closed campus day, but due to the closure of school on Monday, April 8, the calendar was reworked and school will be open on Friday, April 12.
