When school buses stop, lives are on the line. Please remember: if the red lights are flashing, you must stop. A child’s life depends on it. Together, we can keep our students safe this school year. 🚸🚌

Illustration of a yellow school bus with children waving inside. Text reads: “When Red’s Flashing Stop! A Child’s Life Depends on It.” The image reminds drivers to stop when a school bus’s red lights are flashing to protect children’s safety.
Fourth-grade students worked on the theme, "Never forget how WILDLY capable you are!" Students sketched their self-directed drawings of a giraffe and finished with watercolors. The first-grade students have been studying murals and working in teams to create a mural of their own.

Mrs. Lewis's 1st-grade class played subtraction bowling! Not only does this activity get the students out of their seats, but it also helps them subtract within 10. Each student bowled and worked together to calculate the amount knocked down (take away) and the amount still standing. They each wrote the subtraction sentence. Learning can be fun!

Teachers from Yerger and BHE participated in an exciting summer professional development with Arkansas A+, where they explored how to integrate STEAM into their curriculum through music, art, movement, and more. This training, in partnership with our Magnet Program, sparked creativity and collaboration — and we can’t wait to see these engaging activities come to life in the classroom!

Thank you for your time, energy, and dedication — Mrs. Rowe

We were thrilled to welcome Hope Head Start for a special tour of Clinton Primary! The Head Start group enjoyed an engaging read-aloud session with our kindergarten teachers, explored the vibrant classrooms, and met our office staff, librarian, cafeteria staff, and nurse. They also had the chance to say hello to our music and art departments before wrapping up their visit with a fun activity led by Coach Marshall. We are excited to see these incoming kinders in August!
