Clinton Primary students had an exciting and engaging Discovery Friday filled with hands-on learning and exploration! Students participated in a wide range of STEM and science-based activities, including:
Egg Catapults
Robotics
Chemical Reactions
Egg Drops
Pumpkin Catapults
Earth Layers Exploration
Halloween Slime
Volcano Experiments
Aerodynamics Activities
...and so much more!
These interactive experiences brought science to life and sparked curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in our students.

Thanks to sponsorship from Magnet, Clinton Primary fourth-grade students recently enjoyed a fun and educational field trip to the Little Rock Zoo. The trip was led by Tristan McMahan and Christopher Mannis and offered students a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences.
Throughout the day, students explored musical rhythm patterns, sound, and instruments, tying in the music curriculum in a hands-on way. In addition, art concepts such as texture, color, and form were observed and discussed, helping students make meaningful connections between art and nature.
The field trip also supported literacy skills, as students engaged with text, stories, comprehension, and vocabulary inspired by their zoo experiences.
It was truly a great day of learning and exploration for Clinton Primary students!

✨ To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, Ms. Gulley's first graders created their very own maracas! ✨
They learned that maracas are percussion instruments, often called “shakers.” Traditionally, they are made from dried gourds, wood, or plastic, and filled with seeds, beans, or pebbles. Students had so much fun making music while learning how maracas highlight the importance of music in Hispanic culture and community. 🎶

Arkansas law requires all students attending Arkansas schools to be vaccinated against certain diseases unless an official exemption form is filed.
Exemptions must be renewed each school year and should be applied for during the summer, prior to the new school year. The Arkansas Department of Health can assist with exemptions. Call 870-777-2191 or visit healthy.arkansas.gov.
As of today, students may not attend school until this deficiency is corrected or an exemption form is provided. Please bring or send the appropriate documentation to your school nurse.
