Gina Karber at Clinton Primary shares some of the Christmas Decor from custodian Claudia Martinez. It's the door with Christmas wrap, yellow barricades and Christmas lighting! The remaining decor is compliments of our Sunshine Club at CPS. The holiday spirit is throughout the halls here at CPS!!

A generous cash donation was made to the CPS Food Pantry & Clothing Closet on December 4, 2024 by Mr. Todd Lowe. We certainly appreciate his kindness toward our students in need!
During this time of year we have an increase in needs for our students due to the holiday season. Donations to the Food Pantry & Clothing Closet may be made at the front office of Clinton Primary School.

BHE 5th Grade Students Explore Mid-America Museum
Our 5th-grade students at BHE recently had the exciting opportunity to visit the Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs, thanks to a trip coordinated by our Magnet program.
During their visit, the students engaged in hands-on activities that sparked their curiosity and love for science. One highlight of the day was attending the Tesla Show, where they learned all about the fascinating Tesla bulb and witnessed science in action.
We are so proud of our students—they represented BHE wonderfully with their behavior and enthusiasm throughout the trip! This memorable experience combined fun and education, and we can’t wait to see how it inspires their learning back in the classroom.

Clinton Primary School has released its December 2024 Newsletter:
Help your child learn how to recognize and manage feelings. All kids feel worried or angry sometimes. Being aware of these feelings and thoughts is the first step in managing them in
healthy ways. Here’s how: Talk about thoughts. When your child seems sad or
anxious, ask, “What are you thinking about right now?” Your child may say, for example, “I’m worried no one will be my friend at school tomorrow.”
Show understanding. Put your child’s feelings into words. I know you’re feeling worried about finding a friend at school tomorrow.”
“Flip” thinking. Tell your child to make negative thoughts do a “flip” so they’re more positive or helpful. Your child might think, “I can ask my classmate from last year to play with me or sit with me at lunchtime.” or “I can tell my teacher I am worried about not having a friend during school.”
If your child often seems worried or upset, talk to your child’s teacher, school counselor or pediatrician.
Reminder: CPS Christmas program will be on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 p.m. Please join us for this presentation!
