Mrs. Stevenson’s social studies class at BHE brought history to life through a STEAM-integrated project, creating beautiful mosaic vases while studying Greek life and art. As part of their exploration of ancient Greece, students learned about the significance of mosaics in Greek culture and applied their knowledge through hands-on creativity. Using various materials, they designed and assembled their own mosaic vases, blending science, technology, engineering, art, and math to enhance their understanding. This engaging STEAM activity made learning both fun and meaningful, allowing students to connect history with artistic expression.

Students also enjoyed planting bulbs, crafting with paper, making clay sculptures, practicing origami, and even songwriting. Hope Public Schools is proud to announce that the Hope Public School District, and specifically Clinton Primary School, has reached a milestone in our state literacy scores! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, parents, and state literacy coordinators, Hope Public Schools is no longer required to receive state coordinated support!
The implementation of state-coordinated support is largely based on the annual state testing done by 3rd and 4th graders in each district. Those scores determine what level of support is required or provided by the State Department of Education.
Our students, teachers, and parents have worked tirelessly over the past several years, raising our state literacy assessment scores. We will continue to push forward and maintain the momentum toward sustained academic excellence.
Join us in celebrating this wonderful achievement! Go Bobcats!!
