On Wednesday, January 15, Dr. Crossley met with Hempstead County Emergency Management teams, first responders, city police, representatives from UAHT, and others to share, discuss, and revise the Emergency Response Plan for Hope Public Schools. The plan defines various emergency situations and the various courses of action each stakeholder takes during such events. This collaborative partnership ensures that Hope Public Schools, city and county officials, and other representatives are working together to provide the best safety protocols for our students, staff, and community!

Two of our CPS 4th graders (Ariana Delrosa and Dakota Hamilton) participated in the Hempstead County Spelling Bee. We are so proud of them! They took on the challenge and pressure of getting up in front of people and spelling difficult words.
We would also like to show our appreciation for School Board Members Jimmy Courtney and Kathryn Dickinson for volunteering at the Spelling Bee. We love that you show up for kids!

FREE CONCERT! Hempstead Hall and the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council presents Delta Brass Express. This is a FREE CONCERT to be held on January 31, 2025 at 7:00pm in Hempstead Hall. This is FREE and open to the public. For more information, contact Hempstead Hall at 870-722-8565.

Clinton Primary School will hold its First Semester Honor Roll programs January 13-16! The public is welcome to help celebrate the achievements of these young learners! BASKETBALL GAMES POSTPONED: The Jr. High game scheduled for tomorrow (Thurs Jan 9) vs Magnolia has been rescheduled for January 21st at 5pm.
Also the Sr. High game Friday (Jan 10) has been rescheduled for February 14th at 5pm.
All due to inclement weather coming in.

Clinton Primary 4th grade students, Madeline Hawthorne and Carter Wilcox recently presented at The Hope Evening Lions Club. They spoke about their involvement and current projects in the EAST Program. EAST stands for Education Achieved by Service and Technology. Their EAST Facilitator, Ally Askew, also participated in the program, which was informative and entertaining. They were invited by Kayla Bowden to speak on EAST and their current project.
