Boys singles had mixed results as Erick Salazar won 8-7 in a tiebreaker, Riley Bramlett lost 8-1, Davis Johnson won 8-6 and Jaden Rivera lost 1-8. Students in Mrs. Gulley's first-grade class began their first unit lesson about plant and animal life cycles and how they change and grow. The first animal on the list was the mountain gorilla. There were many things we learned about them, including where they lived and what they ate. As a follow-up to the lesson, the students were shown a video to enhance their understanding of the lesson concepts.
