💪 Student Leadership in Action / Liderazgo Estudiantil en Acción

A few weeks ago, several of our students stepped up to lend a hand and support their community.

Shoutout to Kylan Brown, Noah Cheatham, Devante Jones, JJ Gulley, and cheerleader Madison Phillips for taking initiative and representing Hope Schools with pride.

Moments like these remind us that leadership isn’t just shown on the field or in the classroom—it’s shown through action. 🖤❤️

Meet Our 2025–2026 Communications Interns!

Hope Public Schools is proud to introduce our Communications Internship Program. This year’s interns — Addison, Xavier, Carlos, Mauricio, Kamaya, LeBron, Celina, and Athen — will work directly with Mr. Tony McClain, Communications & Public Relations Director.

They will gain valuable skills in photography, videography, communications, public relations, business, and entrepreneurship. Each student will have the opportunity to create professional-level projects, including branding campaigns, product photography, portraits, family sessions, headshots, and more.

If you know a business that would like to support our interns by giving them real opportunities to apply their skills, we invite you to connect with us. Together, we’re building a stronger Bobcat community for today and tomorrow.

Immunization Reminder for All Families

Arkansas law requires all students attending Arkansas schools to be vaccinated against certain diseases unless an official exemption form is filed.

Exemptions must be renewed each school year and should be applied for during the summer, prior to the new school year. The Arkansas Department of Health can assist with exemptions. Call 870-777-2191 or visit healthy.arkansas.gov.

As of today, students may not attend school until this deficiency is corrected or an exemption form is provided. Please bring or send the appropriate documentation to your school nurse.

From 200 forms to just 100 forms left—Bobcat community, you’re showing up BIG. 💯🐾

✅ Every completed form = more resources for your student and no-cost meals for ALL.

We’re sooooo close! Let’s finish this together and make that $1,000,000 impact. 💪

Deadline day is almost here.
200 missing forms = $1,000,000 gone. That’s support we can’t afford to lose.

✅ Every completed form = more resources for your student and no-cost meals for ALL.
📍 Need a form? Stop by your campus front office this morning.

This is the time. One form. Big impact.

🚨 Final 48 hours to act.
We are ~200 forms short, and without them, our schools risk losing up to $1,000,000 in funding.

📌 That’s fewer resources for classrooms, fewer opportunities for your student, and a risk to no-cost meals.

Parents/Guardians: If you need a form, visit your child’s front office today.
Let’s finish this strong—together we win.

Press Release

For Immediate Release

Hope Public Schools Updated Safety Practices for Athletics and Activities

Hope, Arkansas – September 18, 2025 – Hope Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans attending Bobcat athletic events. As part of recognized safety practices for the 2025–2026 school year, several security measures and entry policies will be in effect at all home football games this season.

OpenGate Security Screening
Hope Public Schools has implemented OpenGate security systems at the entrances of the stadium. These state-of-the-art systems allow for efficient, non-intrusive screening to help maintain a secure environment for all attendees. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for entry through the OpenGate system. We will have law enforcement and administrators assisting with transitions.

Clear Bag Policy
As part of our safety practices, only clear bags will be permitted inside the stadium. Diaper bags and medically necessary items are allowed but will be subject to inspection. This policy helps ensure the safety of all guests while allowing for a quicker and smoother entry process. This is consistent with safety practices for most large venues nationally and statewide.

Student Attendance Requirement
For the safety and supervision of all students: Administrators and HPS staff will remind your students of appropriate behavior. This means that horseplay, cursing, loitering in restrooms or other areas, and insubordination directed at HPS employees is prohibited. We will direct ALL students who are not accompanied by an adult or guardian to the student section. The student section will be located in the stands closest to the band and cheerleaders.

These expectations are designed to ensure a positive game day experience for all spectators.

Hope Public Schools thanks the community for their continued support and cooperation in following these procedures. Together, we can ensure that Bobcat football games remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all.
