The Hope Magnet Program took HHS Students to Little Rock for HBCU College Tour supported by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity inc. There were 16 colleges present. The students seemed to favor Southern University in Baton Rouge, Wiley College, UAPB, and Grambling State University. It was a great experience for our students. One of our students, Shy’Anna Farris, applied at Southern University and was accepted!! Magnet is excited to be able to offer these opportunities for our students. Sheila Hopson and Chatorie Terrell were there to help the students find suitable universities.

Hope Public Schools is aware that a letter purporting to be from the “Hope High School Custodial and Administrative Staff” regarding use of HHS bathrooms is circulating. This letter is FAKE. This letter was not written by Hope High School staff or any other HPS employee. HPS Administration believes this is a student prank and is conducting an internal investigation. One student involved has been identified and will be disciplined appropriately. If additional involved students are identified, they will also be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with District policies.

Love the celebrations from yesterday's St. Patrick's Day! Here is another collage of pics sent in from Mrs. McClenton and Mrs. Lewis. In Mrs. Lewis' class, not only did they wear green, but also made rainbows with pots of gold! The first grade students used their fine motor skills, a little imagination and followed instructions to create their own rainbows out of cereal, marshmallows, and pipe cleaners! They took this fun treat home. #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Today, she stands before us as an accomplished scholar, educator, and trailblazer. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for the College of Education and Behavioral Science at Arkansas State University, Dr. McGregor has dedicated over 30 years to higher education. She has held numerous leadership roles, including chairperson of the Department of Psychology and Counseling and president of the Faculty Senate. Dr. McGregor’s contributions to psychology, education, and research are profound. She has been recognized for her work on the Imposter Phenomenon and has conducted extensive research on Dr. Mamie Phipps Clark, whose studies were instrumental in the historic Brown v.
