"Because I took all my classes on the UAHT college campus while still in high school, I was completely comfortable when I transferred to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. My favorite thing about the Collegiate Academy was the environment. I was able to build close relationships with my peers, teachers, and staff. We all helped each other reach our goals. If you want to get a head start on achieving your college goals, I definitely recommend attending the Collegiate Academy. It will help you tremendously. I am thankful that Hope High School offers this amazing program!" - Ashlyn C.
The application to apply for the Hope Collegiate Academy is now open. The deadline to apply for the collegiate academy is Monday, June 3, 2024. Students who will be entering the 10th grade can apply to the academy. Students must be enrolled or be eligible to become enrolled as a Hope Public School District student and meet the collegiate academy entrance requirements to attend. The academy is a public school that is free of charge and is located on the University of Arkansas-Hope campus.
The Hope Collegiate Academy is a partnership between the Hope Public School District and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. The goal of the academy is to provide students with a three-year curriculum that allows them the opportunity to complete a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously. Since its inception, the collegiate academy has had a 100% graduation rate and saves students an average of $18,980 compared to the first two years at an Arkansas public 4-year university.
